Why isn't my cartridge printing?

Cartridges sometimes dry up at the printhead when the cartridge is not in use. You can remedy this by taking a damp paper towel and fold it over twice, (Step 1) place the printhead onto the damp paper towel and hold down for 1 to 2 minutes. This should get the ink to flow out of the nozzles and create an ink “footprint” (Step 2). Repeat this process if unsuccessful after the first attempt. After you get a footprint, place your cartridge into your printer and print out a test page.
